HIGH FIVE!
What, the Schmitts are doing a cider? Yes, a well rounded , fruity, citrusy and dry apple sparkling wine. Your kind of wine to get you the spring feeling whole year round, no matter of typhoon, thunderstorm or sunshine. Apple Ahoy!
PS: The name Sandor is the Hungarian version of Alexander. This happy cidre is dedicated to the lovely son of Bianka and Daniel.
Vinification:
Mixed apple varieties of small, tannic and big, juicy apples were used. After pressing, the fermentation took about 3 months in the tank. In the last quarter of fermentation, the bottles were filled and fermented to the end. The whole process took about 6 months and the Sandor was not disgorged.
