Description
The Calmel & Joseph Cotes Du Roussillon Village is a brilliant deep purple red coloured wine with an incredible finish. The nose, typical of this appellation whose vines spread over the foothills of the Pyrenees, harbours black fruit and spicy notes offering the powerful fragrance. It is a generous wine, with blackberry and blackcurrant aromas and a beautifully fresh, slightly menthol finish. It has an excellent balance with great harmony between maturity, freshness and silky tannins.
It received 17.5 points by Jancis Robinson who assures this wine to be ‘Absolutely beautiful’.
