Description
The Terrasses du Larzac is ruby red in colour and more hefty, not surprising given the 50% Mourvedre in the blend.
The savoury, spicy fruit has a lovely blackcurrant note and a silky texture. This is a rich, complex wine, with a superb balance, velvety tannins, and aromas of elderberry, crystallised fruits as well as rich toasted notes on the finish. It was recently awarded with 90 Robert Parker points which makes it a bang for the buck.
