Description
The Masseria Pietrosa – Palmenti Negroamaro Salento, next to being awarded ‘Best of Show’ wine and receiver of Grand Gold at the Mundus Vini awards, Luca Maroni, Italy’s leading wine critic, also named the Palmenti Italy’s best red wine in 2017 with an outstanding 98 points.
It is produced in Apulia where the climate is characterised by high temperatures, very little rainfall and a wide temperature range between night and day, which gives the grapes its unique character. The hand-harvested grapes are aged for 12 month in French oak and produce a full-bodied red wine, that is velvety in texture, extremely well-balanced and rich in fine tannins.
