As the name suggests this flavour is where our humble journey first began.
Apart from the lovely floral flavour you’d expect from a quality gin, there’s also a rare, uniquely Sugarbird citrus twang and hint of Cape fynbos.
Inspired by the Cape Sugarbird, Sugarbird’s Original Fynbos varietal is floral – driven with notes of hibiscus, buchu and rose geranium. There are undertones of citrus peel and cape fynbos. It is the perfect balance of floral and citrus in an otherwise classic, dry gin. This gin now falls into a category that several Cape craft gins have created by inclusion of fynbos – “Cape Dry” – London Dry with a touch of Fynbos
